For year's the use of photoshop has altered society's perspective on true beauty. With a rise of teen bullying and many teen suicides, more people are starting to take notice that maybe the media has been painting teens something that is unreachable. Well, some people have finally started to take notice and are beginning to take a stand for what's right. A 14 year old girl, along with a few blogger friends, have set out to challenge a few large publications to stop the extreme photoshoping on their teen publications. They had accomplished what they set out to do at Seventeen Magazine a little while ago, and have now gone onto Teen Vogue. They have started a petition which has already gained over 15,000 signatures with hopes of Teen Vogue agreeing to "to make a public statement promising to not digitally alter the face or body sizes of ANY model who appears in their magazine,". No word has been received from Editor- in- Chief, Amy Astley, as yet.
